March makes it two years that I’ve been back in Nigeria. It’s hard for me to believe it at times. When I set off for the university, I couldn’t have predicted that I would be back. I had imagined a different life. But I’m back and so far, I’ve been feeling good about it. Regardless of some of the unfortunate conditions in my country, I do feel blessed to say that being back has brought me peace. It’s ignited and stirred back my passions. It’s brought me back to childhood friends. It’s even given me a vision of a better life.
For my latest vlog, I’m sharing some tips for Nigerians who haven’t been back in a while or maybe you’re coming to Nigeria for the first time, here are a few things you should know.
Also, people, I have been working on a book. The process is slow but I am certain that I will produce a book in my life so that is why I will keep working on it. I’m working on the chapter on Nigeria. For this chapter, I want to interview Nigerians from different backgrounds and experiences. If you live in Abuja, Nigeria and are interested in speaking to me or if you know someone who is. Or maybe, you even have tips for me, then please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you so much.
