Nigeria At 59: What I Appreciate About Being Nigerian

Today, Nigeria turns 59. Though there are numerous challenges that our country needs to tackle, there are still some things that are singular and prominent about Nigeria and it’s people.

I value being a Nigerian. I value being an African.

In spite of our short-comings, it matters to still speak positively about our nation. I believe that we do have the power to bring better things into existence. It starts with us Nigerians declaring the intrinsic value that comes in our nationality.
