African Migration: Life Abroad Is Not Perfect

I’ve been reading “From Frying Pan To Fire” by Olusegun Adeniyi which takes us through the stories of African migrants on their quest for a better life in Europe. The stories take us through risky and horrid experiences from the journey and destination.

I’m very interested and fascinated with the theme of immigration so reading this book is enjoyable to me. It’s no surprise that African immigration is common. I hear a lot of my peers say that if they had the chance to go abroad, they would immediately leave this country. From discussions, people make it seem that life abroad is perfect. Some people believe that the moment you land, everything will be as you want it to. I disagree. Here are my thoughts on why I believe that there aren’t that many opportunities when you enter another country as a foreigner.

What do you think about African migration?
